Two leading financial services solutions vendors, Fidelity National Information Services Inc. (FIS) and SAP AG, hosted client conferences during the week of May 16.
The FIS 2005 ACTION Client Conference showcased the vendor's line of tactical banking solutions to more than 450 U.S. and international bankers in Orlando, Florida. This was FIS' first client conference as a separate legal entity. On March 9, Fidelity National Financial Inc. (FNF) closed the recapitalization of the FIS business unit with equity investments from Texas Pacific and WH Lee. FIS announced a successful international deployment of its Auto Finance solution to serve Ford Motor Credit UK and Germany.
SAP SAPPHIRE '05 Boston put on a full display of products and vendors, demonstrating its reach across multiple industries to a global audience of 9,000 from all walks of commerce. SAP announced on May 18, 2005, that JPMorgan Chase (JPMC) selected mySAP ERP (enterprise resource planning) to consolidate its domestic general ledgers to a single platform.
